Please direct applications for postdoctoral positions to Ting Wu. So that your application can receive serious consideration, please include a CV and summary of your graduate work. Please also address the following:
- Research in the Wu laboratory that interests you most.
- Expertise that you will be bringing with you (e.g., expertise in genetics, molecular biology, cell culture, FISH, computational biology, biochemistry, crystallography, etc.).
- Expertise that you would like to learn during your postdoctoral years.
- Time when you would like to begin your postdoctoral training.
- Plans to obtain postdoctoral fellowships/independent funding. Although the laboratory occasionally has funding to support a postdoctoral fellow, it is advantageous to bring your own funding. Note that the process of obtaining postdoctoral fellowships (including the preparation of an application) can take up to a year. Therefore, it would be best to apply to the laboratory well in advance of any desired start date.
- Goals after your postdoctoral training, if they are clear to you at this time.
