We have two new opportunities to participate in the retreat. For this year's featured speakers, we are asking faculty members to nominate a student or postdoc in their lab to speak at the retreat. A faculty member can send the name and contact information with a short summary of the talk to retreat committee at retreat_committee [at] genetics [dot] med [dot] harvard [dot] edu. We strongly encourage any student or postdoc that would like to speak at the retreat to talk with their PI to nominate them.

Poster Competition: We will be holding a poster competition with great prizes for this year's Poster Session. The categories of the competition include: Best Collaboration, Best Technology Developed and Best Overall.

Retreat T-Shirt Design Contest: Please send us your designs for the Retreat T-Shirt! You can use two colors and the t-shirt in your design. Please submit your designs to caitlin_reavey [at] hms [dot] harvard [dot] edu by Friday, January 10, 2012. The winning designs will receive a special gift. (1st Prize: $100 Amazon Gift Certificate and 2nd Prize: $50 Amazon Gift Certificate)
