Harris Wang and Farren Isaacs in the Church lab have developed a method for rapidly generating targeted diversity at many genetic loci simultaneously.  The new technique allows researchers to accelerate evolution of specific targeted pathways and will facilitate the generation of highly specialized organisms.

Their work was published in the Aug 13 edition of Nature.
