Professor of Cancer Genetics

The Department of Genetics invites applicants to fill a newly established Chair in Cancer Genetics within the Department of Genetics at Harvard Medical School. This is a tenured position at the level of Professor, and carries with it significant resources to support scientific and scholarly activities. We are searching for individuals with a proven record of important and creative research in any area of cancer genetics and genomics. The successful candidate is expected to direct innovative and independent research and to participate in the teaching mission of the Department. This position offers the opportunity to interact and collaborate with other cancer biologists and geneticists within the diverse Harvard research community in addition to interacting with investigators undertaking a broad spectrum of genetic inquiry within the Department of Genetics.
